Epipremnum Marble Queen
Also known as: Pothos Marble Queen, Devils Ivy
Origin: French Polynesia
One of the best houseplants for those just getting into the game! Devils Ivy is hardy and grows at light speed. They are bound to make any plant novice feel good when they see that new growth. There are many different types of Pothos but this marbled beauty contains variegated leaves green and white leaves giving it a marbled effect.
Light: I can live in low to bright, indirect sunlight. I'm perfect for that dark corner in the house that needs jazzing up.
Humidity: I don't need to be in a humid environment.
Water: Water me fortnightly, allow my soil to completely dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. You may find you need to water me less in the winter months.
Temperature: I will happily go down to around 10 degrees if dry over the winter but best above.
Fertiliser: My growing seasons are spring to summer. Feed me with general houseplant fertiliser every 2 months during this period.
Toxicity: I am toxic to both humans & animals, please keep me out of reach of children and pets.
Reviving: Your plant could be underwatered or scorched from direct sunlight if it appears dry with crispy leaf tips.
A handy tip - Grow your own - Pothos can easily be propagated in water from a stem and leaf cutting.
