The exotic-looking Bird of Paradise plant is a low maintenance house plant with a big presence. It'll be such to have a big impact on any space in the home! It features deep green paddle-shaped leaves that sit upon long glossy stems. This is a great plant for bright spaces and anyone who isn't great at sticking to a strict watering schedule.

Light: I'll thrive in bright light and can handle lower dappled sunlight.

Water: In the summer I will require watering more frequently but as temperatures drop, make sure I'm not sat in saturated soil as I am prone to root rot.

Humidity: I love a bit of humidity so I would do great in a well-lit bathroom! Or you can mist my leaves once a week to keep me happy.

Temperature: I'll do best above 18 degrees.

Fertiliser: Give me a feed through spring and summer.

A handy tip - There are no extra care requirements needed for this hardy guy, but he’ll appreciate you keeping his leaves free of dust by wiping them occasionally with a soft cloth.
