Pinstripe Calathea

Calathea Sanderiana 

Also known as: Pinstripe Calathea, Calathea Ornata

Origin: Columbia and Venezuela.

This statement air purifying plant has distinctive pink stripes on its large dark green leaves. The beautiful glossy leaves have a lovely dark purple underneath.

Nursery Pot Size: 14cm.

Light: Position me in a warm spot with bright, indirect sunlight.  Direct sunlight will cause my leaves to fade and lose their markings. 

Water: Weekly, don't let my soil dry out, but definitely do not allow the plant to sit in water or in very wet soil. Little and often is best for me. 

Humidity: I'm my most happy in the bathroom or kitchen where the humidity is high.

Temperature: I like warmer climates 18°C to 25°C

Fertiliser: Feed me once a month in spring and summer.

Toxicity: Great news - I am non-toxic to both children and pets.

Decorative pot not included.
