Origin: Brazil

Nursery Pot Size: 7cm or 14cm (14cm is shown in the photograph)

As well as it's stunning mix of colours and tones, the Trio Star is a particularly amazing plant. They close their leaves at night to sleep and open them up again in the morning. Creating the phrase "turning over a new leaf". 

Light: Dappled light is best for me but I'll also survive in low level lighting if that's all you can offer me.

Water: Weekly please, make sure my soil is dry before watering.

Humidity: I am a tropical plant and thrive in a humid environment, I'd do well in your bathroom.

Temperature: I like warmer climates 18°C to 27°C.

Fertiliser: Feed me every couple of weeks with a diluted fertiliser to keep me growing.

Toxicity: I'm beautiful & pet friendly - what more could you want?

A handy tip - Turning your Trio Star around once a week can help promote a good, even distribution of the leaves, as they'll grow in the direction of the light. Misting can also help to create the humidity they need.
